« on: February 25, 2012, 08:46:54 am »
WTB adjustable powder slide in good working condition, I have two powder slides for my Star machine one is stamped B. E. 2.7 GR and the other one is stamped 5 GR, both are stamped 00, I am new to this and am using my fathers machine it is in perfect working condition as I reloaded 50 38 Special rounds with it yesterday,  most of the reload books say a 357 takes an average of 10 GR,,no kicker, or indexing, but I had a ton of fun,,, thanks for any and all help, suggestions, advice,,, I am loading for target and some hunting and want the versatility of the adjustable powder slide

Don't this require at least a "0" slide or thicker?

How many grains of say "Unique" will an adjustable "00" slide drop? It should lack quite a bit getting to 10gr.

You won't get to 10 grains of Unique with a 00 adjustable powder slide, but you can get there with one of my 1/2" Powder slide kits.
