Reality , you may locate a star machine
on a auction or in the want adds ..
I have - some have needed LOTs of $ to bring
up to usable condition . Others were missing many
parts.
There are fellows here that are in tune
with the current value of these machines.
You may consider doubling your minimum or more.
These are hand made machines , Not Lee's
I can only hope this helps you join the Star
Family of Star Tool users.

There is an old Star lubrisizer up for bid, on ebay, right now for $127.00, with time still left to bid on it...

This venerable old Star looks like  it had been ridden hard, and put up wet, all of it's life. But, I'll bet it will still work.

Go bid on it and take your chances. All it appears to need is a new sizing/operating handle. Magma sells those.

Magma will rebuild the Star for you, if needed, but then you would be in it way over $200.00.

A good, used Star lubrisizer just sold on ebay for $267.00, an average price. A new Star lubrisizer from Magma Engineering, will set you back $297.00. So why buy used, when a new Star style lubrisizer costs so little more?

I believe the OP was talking about a Star Lubrisizer, not a Star reloader...

Star Universal Progressive reloaders routinely sell on ebay, for more than $600.00 And they are usually rusty hulks. They will still work, but they look like they have been through a Banana Republic revolution.
