Greetings,

I was unable to locate a SAAMI drawing of the 9x21 cartridge. Is it merely a lengthened 9mm NATO round?

Would you use a set of 9mm dies to size the case?

If so, I can machine up a 9mm die set for you.

Cheers,

Dave

You prob. know about this site, but if not, go to (http://stevespages.com/page8d.htm) This will give you dimensions of the 9X21 case and several hundred others.
the 9X21 is near the bottm of the page in the metric area.

Good Shooting

Greetings Lindy,

Thanks for the reminder. I have gleaned manuals for guns thanks to Steve's website.

The cartridge drawings are excellent for a high level view of the cartridge. Sadly, they are not detailed enough to machine a shell plate or dies. The SAAMI site is the place I rely on for fully dimensioned drawings when I fabricate my Star tooling.

Cheers,

Dave

This probably doesn't give you the details you need....but it may lead to them.
