Universal Press Pricing Question
« on: July 02, 2017, 10:29:39 pm »
Hi All,

New to this forum, so thanks in advance for any help I can get.

Question, what are basic Universal Presses set up for just 45ACP (no add-ons, such as a case feeder) selling for these days?  I would say in good condition, used of course but well cared for, lubed, free of rust, etc.

I plan to sell mine as I have had to give up Bullseye shooting due to shoulder health issues.

Thanks again!!

There are a couple of threads on this site citing past sales on Ebay and Gunbroker.
While I have not updated this information in the last year or two, the prices remain consistent with what you see described. Although as Dave noted overall sales prices have varied, some very surprisingly higher than what would have been expected.

FYI.
.45 is second only to .38 in quantity out there, and being the most commonly found machine.

Good luck!

Greetings,

Go to eBay and search for Star Reloader.

Then click on the Completed Items or Sold items.

They range from $400.00 to $1000.00. Bidding fluctuated based on how much alcohol the Bidder has consumed.

Also consider add-ons such as the Hulme Case feeder.

Cheers,

Dave

Dave has come up with an explanation for eBay price variations that makes sense.

Best regards.

Greetings,

They suggest one of these pellet smokers and range from $400.00 to $1000.00. Bidding fluctuated based on how much alcohol the Bidder has consumed.

Not gonna lie, this made me chuckle. This might actually explain stuff. More power to you, Dave.
