Star Original Equipment
« on: October 24, 2007, 10:26:31 am »
Hi All,

I purchased my 1st Star many yrs ago and can't remember exactly all of the the items included with the machine. Here's what I recall. The machine was a 45acp universal w/o TC die. Extra's were small primer conv components; slide, punch & bushing, feed tube & a spanner wrench. There was also a packet of replacement primer punches.

Perhaps some of you who purchased your machines new can comment as to the accuracy of my list?

Thanks,
Ron H

There should also have been a primer pickup tube for either/or the small and large pistol primers. Maybe or maybe not a differant base plug if .38. Some came with one base plug that was rimmed on one side that fit in the shell base plug hole, some had none (mine) and the .38s just fell through.

Ken,
You're right, I got the complete conv to small primer setup including pickup tube.  Mine had the plug as it was a 45.
