Stars Want to Sell/Want to Buy / Re: WTB 1/2 x 27 Jam Nuts

The same nut that is used for the expander is also used for the nose punch on the star lubesizer. You can get them from Magma Engineering.  I think Dave Wilson (fc60) makes them as well.

How about a whole 45ACP Universal.  I can help you with that.

Also, is your 38 machine a progressive or a Universal?   Progressives cannot be converted to other calibers,  Universals can.

Great Article Dave, Nice Find.    Do you know the date of the AR issue?

The taper crimp dies that have been on eBay are made by Mardan Inc. in Indian Orchard Mass.   A Google of Heatbath Corp shows that it is also located in Indian Orchard Mass.  Obviously there's a connection.

Lindy is correct if you are asking about the screws that hold the primer magazine socket.

If you are referring to the screws that attach the cast brass (bronze?) primer assembly to the base, the correct screw is a 1/4"-28 x 1/2" socket cap screw.

Do you want the 3/8" post type, or the standard 11/16-24 Star thread type.   As mentioned above, Dave Wilson is the guy for the former.   I have the post type.

I can help you out with 38 Special dies and shell plate, the small primer magazine and the Hulme top plates.   I have everything in stock except the M3 top plate which I will have shortly.

Welcome to the forum Ernie.

I make top plates for the Hulme as well as primer magazines, followers and primer pickups.  I also make half inch powder slide kits that accept the Hornady bushings.    Barrel Tester makes adjustable powder slides.  Maurilew makes a very nice powder drain.  Fc60 makes new dies that are in every way equal to the originals.

I don't have 9MM dies at this time, but I can put together a 9MM Universal for you using dies from Dave Wilson.

I do have Dies and Shell plates for 38 Special as well as several 38 Special "Progressives".   One that's ready to go now.

I sent you a PM.  I will have several Universals ready to go in the near future.

Looks nice.   I have been using a beefy handle with a 2" ball for a number of years.   I didn't make it.  It came to me on one of the Lubesizers I purchased a while back.   I find the 2" ball more comfortable than the original handle..

Having a handle that doesn't bend is not necessarily a good thing.   Of all the things that could bend or break on a Star Lubesizer, the handle would be my first choice. :D
