Ditto on Bruce.  He just did one for me.  I sent him the part I had, & he supplied the rest.  Looks perfect.

Email or call him & he'll get you squared away.

Stars Want to Sell/Want to Buy / Sale of tool
« Last post by Darren F Wallis on December 07, 2017, 10:37:11 PM »
I have a star reloader of course and I would like to sell it. Unfortunately I do not know how to describe it in perfect detail. The press itself has a .38special die plate with all dies installed. Surface rust but not to unserviceable state, slide unaffected. Rust confined to arm, spring rod and tool head containing dies. A 45acp tool head also is available and it was stored properly, exhibiting no rust and all stations contain dies. Upon viewing this forum I realize that I left the case feeding parts behind and can not retrieve them. How to post pictures of anything, anywhere on a computer has not seemed important enough to know how to do it, yet. I'll try to find someone to help.
I need a .458-9" sizing die for my Star lube & sizing tool and I would like to end up with a new Redding turret press.

Hi 4-star
There is a direction valve shown in the second Pic down that is located near the tool head spring anchor#57 that reverses the air pressure to the pneumatic
cylinder and the bullet holder tries to retract away from the machine but is cought on a step , when the tool head comes down it pushes the bullet holder down and off the step allowing it to retract and pick up another bullet.
Clear as a bell,, Right.

Good Shooting

Thanks.  Very interesting pictures.
What causes the bullet holder to retract before the seating die hits it?
